LIVESTREAM IFAF World Junior Championships: Team Canada 2 vs Team Brazil, June 26, 19:00 CET (7 pm, 1 pm EDT)

Team Canada 2 will take on Brazil in the first game of the consolation round as the 2024 IFAF U20 World Junior Championship rolls into Day 2 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Canada2 suffered a surprising 41-13 loss to Team Austria in the opening round of the tournament while Brazil lost to Team Canada without scoring a point.

This is the first World Junior Championship tournament for Brazil. They are coached by Adan Rodrigues, who has been at the helm for the past two years. He won multiple state and national championships as a player with the Coritiba Crocodiles and then as a coach.

At the helm of the Canada2 squad is Ronald Hilaire, a Laval, Que., native, who was the 21st head coach of the McGill Redbirds of the RSEQ from 2015-23.

The winner of this game will move on to face the winner of the game between Team Australia and Panama.
