The defending European Junior champion, Team Austria, will look to make history Sunday as they face Team France for the gold medal in the 2017 IFAF Paris European Junior Championship final at Stade Laurent Pleagelatte in Villepinte, France.
An Austrian win would make Team Austria the first team in history to win four straight European Junior titles.

Austria rolled up 298 yards of offense while holding Italy to 46, including minus 11 yards rushing.
Austrian running back Tobias Bonatti will be a test for the French front seven who shut down the German running game, holding Germany to minus six yards rushing. Bonatti rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown against Italy.
Team France has a pair of excellent running backs as well. Bafode Savane rushed for 101 yards against a tough German defense while Alexis Boulange had 49 yards.
France relies on quarterback Gregoire Noel while Austria utilized a trio of signal callers. Yannick Gruner, Ruben Seeber and Rudolf Frey combined for 166 yards passing with Gruner getting most of the snaps.
