The second of three days of IFAF European Flag Football Championships action and the final day of the qualification rounds takes place on the Championship Field at the University of Limerick as a record number of 32 teams from 19 nations continue their quest to win the European crowns in Ireland.
The competition continues on Saturday morning with the remaining group games to decide Sunday’s knockout bracket. The full game schedule for the Championship Field will be available at game time.
In the men’s competition, six of the 19 teams remain unbeaten. Denmark, who are fighting to win a seventh straight European title, World Games runners up Italy, Austria, France, Germany and Switzerland all boast a 2-0 record.
In the women’s competition, Germany and Italy remain unbeaten with 3-0 records while the reigning champion Spanish sit at 2-1 as do Finland and Great Britain.
