Saturday will see the 6-2 Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns travel to face the 2-7 Ravensburg Razorbacks in week 12 of the German Football League.

The Unicorns are on the back of a terrific run, going undefeated since a week four loss to the Brauncschweig New Yorker Lions. Their last game saw them dominate the Straubing Spiders, winning the game 42-7. Caleb Schweigart was a key performer at receiver, catching three balls for 111 yards and an incredible touchdown reception. DB Monteze Lattimore showed up on defense, earning himself a tackle-for-loss and two interceptions, with one of which going back to the house for a defensive score.

Ravensburg have had a very different season, coming off a 21-0 shutout at the hands of Javarian Smith and the Allgäu Comets. QB Alexander Bjerre was inactive in the team’s last outing, causing wideout Willem Vanccompernolle to take snaps. Vanccompernolle completed just three of 15 attempts and threw an interception, and the run game was not significantly better; the Razorbacks totalled just over 100 yards rushing, with 81 of those being picked up by Lennies McFerren.

Jeremy Conley has been a bright spot for the Razorbacks defensively, leading the league in both solo and total tackles (65, 99.0). As a unit, however, their defense ranks last in the league, allowing just shy of 380 yards and over 30 points per game.
