Saarland’s explosive offense is led by quarterback Josh Goldin. Goldin has been one of the league’s top passers putting up 2,483 and 30 touchdowns good for second in the league. Goldin’s top weapons include Kai Hunter, Marvin Fuchs, and former University of California receiver Victor Wharton III. Wharton III has been one of the league’s top weapons putting up 1,240 all-purpose yards this season. On the ground, Kai Hunter and Brandon Thompson bring finesse and power to the Hurricanes run game.
Saarland’s defense faces a tough challenge as the Unicorns offense is stacked with talent. Defensive back Chaz Elder will look to cause turnovers in the secondary against a Unicorns offense that loves to test defenses with the deep ball. Sesan Jelvani has been one of the league’s top defenders putting up an impressive 21 tackles for a loss this season.
