The Munich Cowboys (3-5) will play host to the Straubing Spiders (4-4) as the German Football League opens its 11th full weekend of play.
The Cowboys defeated Straubing 31-7 on the opening weekend of action.
After beating the Spiders, Munich then downed the Wildcats 21-14. They then dropped two in a row, 33-17 to the Ravensburg Razorbacks and 42-35 to the Unicorns and then 27-7 to the previously winless Wildcats. They rebounded with a solid 31-27 victor over the Allgäu Comets but then were narrowly beaten by the Berlin Adler, 21-20 before losing to the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns 21-0 a week ago.
The Spiders are coming off a solid 21-7 victory over the Paderborn Dolphins after dropping two in a row, losing a tough one to the Unicorns 24-21 and then getting beaten by the Razorbacks 34-20. Prior to that, they had won two of their previous three including a big 29-25 win over the Comets.

Munich quarterback Niklas Yockey has thrown for 1,662 yards and 18 touchdowns in the eight games with his favorite targets being Gabriel Boccella who has 39 catches for 533 yards and eight touchdowns followed by Anton Chereminskiy who has caught 21 passes for 283 yards and Nicco Heiss with 17 receptions for 309 yards and a touchdown. Maximilian Mayer is the Cowboys leading rusher with 449 yards rushing on 74 carries.
