The Saarland Hurricanes (1-2) take the almost three hour bus ride to Schwäbisch Hall to face the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns (2-0) in a battle of high scoring teams as the German Football League heads into its fourth full weekend of action.
These two teams played each other twice in 2023 and split the series with the Unicorns winning the first contest 30-14 and Saarland the second, later in the season, 36-30.
The Unicorns barely got by the Allgäu Comets to start the season beating them by one point to open the season (58-57) but then downed Kirchdorf handily 36-10. They will face a Saarland Hurricanes team that lost two high scoring games to the Berlin Rebels (39-38) and Comets (36-30) but then beat Ravensburg 44-32.
