LIVESTREAM Germany PPV: Berlin Adler @ Paderborn Dolphins, June 11, 15:00 CET (3 pm, 9 am EDT)
The German Football League’s fourth weekend of play winds up Sunday, June 11 when the Berlin Adler (1-1) pay a visit to Paderborn to face the Paderborn Dolphins (1-2) in a GFL North Conference matchup.
After winning last week against the Straubing Spiders 28-6, the Adler look to continue their win streak. They will face a Paderborn team that is looking to find their way back into the win column after falling 43-14 to the Potsdam Royals in their last match.
Paderborn, who is led by quarterback Niklas Gorny, is still yet to find their true identity on offense. After putting up 33 points in their debut game of the season, the Dolphins have just scored 28 in their last two games combined, including only producing 110 total yards of offense last week against Potsdam.

If Paderborn looks to compete this week against the Adler, their defense will need to show up like it did week one against Kiel where they had four interceptions. However, they are going to need to work for it, as they are facing a Berlin team that has only turned the ball over once this year.
On the other side, the Adler, led by quarterback Zach Cavanaugh, are coming into the game with a little momentum as they won their last match by 22 points, beating Straubing 28-6. Cavanaugh threw for 237 yards with three scores and no interceptions in that game.
Cavanaugh’s dual threat ability led him to also be the team’s leading rusher as he was able to gain 98 yards on the ground. Having this versatility at the quarterback position has made it tough to stop the Adler on the ground as they are third in the GFL in total rushing.
Look for the Adler’s offensive game plan to run primarily through the play of Cavanaugh. If Berlin can keep the ball out of a hungry Paderborn defense’s hands, expect them to come away with the win. If that is not the case, this game could be interesting down to the very end.
