The Munich Cowboys (0-2-1) will travel to Kempten, Germany Sunday, May 26 to face the 0-1 Allgäu Comets as the German Football League heads into its fourth round of action.
The Cowboys are currently fourth in the GFL South conference while Allgäu is sixth.
The two teams split the series in 2018 with Munich winning the first game 31-28 and the Comets getting their revenge in the second with a 34-24 win.
Allgäu lost their only game this season as they were blanked 20-0 by the Frankfurt Universe. In that game, they generated a total of 88 yards in offense. Quarterback Calvin Stitt had a day he would like to forget completing just seven of 22 passes for 53 yards. In other words, things can only get better. Had it not been for their defense, it would have been ugly.
Cowboys QB Brady Bolles (Northwest Missouri State) has thrown for threw for 793 yards and six touchdowns in two games with WR Jaylen Zachery (Central Missouri State) hauling in 31 passes for 352 yards and three of those touchdowns. Kai Silbermann is his next leading target with 258 yards in receptions and two touchdown on 18 catches. Bolles is proving to have an ability to use his legs and has rushed for a team-best 144 yards.
