The 0-2 Allgäu Comets travel to Munich, Germany in their third game of the season where they will again face the 1-2-1 Munich Cowboys in the second of a back-to-back series in the German Football League.
Munich defeated the Comets 31-16 a week ago in Kempten.
In last week’s game, Munich relied on their better passing game (221 yards to 90 for Comets) but they were outgained on the ground 121 to 24.
Cowboys QB Brady Bolles has thrown for threw for 1,014 yards and 10 touchdowns in four games with WR Jaylen Zachery hauling in 39 passes for 496 yards and four of those touchdowns. Kai Silbermann is his next leading target with 325 yards in receptions and four touchdown on 25 catches.
The Comets need their offense to kick into gear. Quarterback Calvin Stitt has thrown for a total of just 143 yards in two games and rushed for only 37. Running back Lennies McFerren has only gained 89 yards in the two games and is due for a breakout performance.
