The unbeaten Thonon Black Panthers take on the 3-0-1 Saint-Ouen l’Aumône Cougars in an early potential championship matchup in the French top league at Stade Josehp Moynat stadium on Thonon-les-Bains, France.
The Black Panthers have come out of the gate with three straight wins, including the season opener against the defending champion La Courneuve Flash. Saint-Ouen l’Aumône has also looked impressive in the first third of the season winning their first three games before being slowed down by Molosses, grinding out a 7-7 tie.
So far this season Thonon quarterback Kyle Boehm has thrown for 407 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 142 yards and another touchdown. Swiss running back Jonathan Falk has also rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown. Black Panthers leading receiver has caught nine passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns.
For the Cougars, quarterback Jonathan Baker has completed 65 of 103 passes for 748 yards and seven touchdowns while Isaac Amoako has 36 carries for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The top receiver for St. Ouen is Enzo Fraioli who has 17 receptions for 216 yards.
In the only meeting between these two teams in 2017, the Black Panthers prevailed 52-21.
