In the final regular season game of the season in France, the 5-3-1 Saint-Ouen-L’Aumône Cougars head north to Paris to play the 5-3-1 Asnieres Molosses to decide which of the two teams qualifies for the fourth and final playoff spot in the French Federation of American Football (Fédération Française de Football Américain).

These two teams are as evenly matched as possible and in the only other meeting between them this season, ended up playing to a 7-7 tie.

The Cougars have scored 269 points on offense while giving up 161. The Asnieres offense trails but not by much with 231 points scored in nine games while the defense has allowed 162.

St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars quarterback Jonathan Baker leads all quarterbacks in passing in France  in 2018 throwing for 1,980 yards and 17 TD. Asnieres Molosses WR/QB Jordan Moore is the rushing leader with 784 yards rushing. Cougars running back Isaac Amoako is the fourth leading rusher in the league with 432 yards while teammate Enzo Fraloli  is 5th on the receiving charts with 365 yards.

It could not get much closer than this.

The Cougars, back-to-back French champions in 2015 and 2016, did not make the playoffs in 2017 while the Molosses played in the French division 2 in 2017.
