LIVESTREAM France: Marseille Blue Stars @ Grizzlys Catalans, March 15, 16:00 CET (4 pm, 11 am ET)

The Marseille Blue Stars (1-2-1) are on the road to face the Grizzlys Catalans (1-2-1) as the Southern conference of the French D1 Elite league heads into its fifth round of play.
These two teams who have been at the top of this conference for the past couple of years find themselves in unfamiliar territory. Looking up from below in the standings.
The Grizzlys opened the season against the Blue Stars, playing them to a 14-14 tie, precisely as they did in 2024. They then lost a 22-21 decision to the Cannes Iron Mask before being beaten 48-27 by a surprising Toulouse Ours squad in the third weekend of action. They got their first win last week, beating the Aix Argonautes 38-28.
Marseille played to a 14-14 tie with the Grizzlys before succumbing to the Toulouse Ours 15-14. They got their first win, a 27-0 shutout of the Nice Dauphins three weeks ago but suffered another loss last weekend, succumbing 15-8 to the Iron Mask.
Grizzlys quarterback Alexander Fromberg leads the league in passing having thrown for 1,167 yards and eight touchdowns in four games. Sean Boswell is his favorite target having caught 17 passes for 339 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Calum Davidson gives Catalans a solid ground game. He is the third leading rusher in the league after having rushed for 328 yards and four scores on 48 carries.
Blue Stars quarterback Brandon Gwinner has thrown for 585 yards and five touchdowns in four games but has also tossed five picks. Pedro Rosa has caught 19 of those passes for 243 yards and a score to lead Marseille.
This game is another toss up. The Blue Stars will have to find a way to keep the Grizzlys aerial game under control to have a chance.
