The Marseille Blue Stars (1-0) head to Bron-Villeurbanne outside Lyon, France to take on the (0-1) Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons Saturday, February 9 in the second weekend of play in the French Federation of American Football 2019 season.

These two teams met each other twice in 2018 with Marseille winning both contests, 21-14 and a blowout 60-13 victory late in the season after the Falcons had been eliminated from any chance of making the playoffs.

Marseille quarterback Chase Burton (Franklin College, Indiana) was solid last week in the Blue Star’s 24-0 win over the Aix-en-Provence Argonautes. New defensive coordinator Cedric Cotar has made a difference as evidenced by the Blue Stars shut out last week. He has brought a winning tradition from Canada’s powerful Laval University Rouge.
