The league-leading and unbeaten La Courneuve Flash (2-0) head to Rouen, France to face the Rouen Leopards (1-1) in the third weekend of action in the French D1 Elite league.

The Leopards lost 33-6 to the Asnieres Molosses to open the 2025 season but rebounded with a 24-21 win over the Saint-Ouen Cougars. La Courneuve edged the defending champion Thonon Black Panthers 6-5 to start the season and then defeated the Molosses 22-12 in Week #2.

These two teams faced each other three times in 2024. The Flash beat Rouen 20-7 early in the year in Rouen but the Leopards answered with a 20-16 win late in the season in Paris. However, in the playoffs, the Leopards were no match for the Flash as La Courneuve pounded Rouen 42-6 in the semifinals.

Even though the game is in Rouen, the Flash are the favorites in this one.
