The Nice Dauphins (0-4) will play host to the Cannes Iron Mask (4-0) as the South Conference of the French D1 Elite league enters its fifth weekend of action.

Nice opened the season losing 41-14 to the Iron Mask and then lost 35-32 to the Aix Argonautes, 27-0 to the Marseille Blue Stars and 24-13 to the Toulouse Ours.

After beating Nice in the season opener, the Iron Mask edged the Grizzlys Catalans 22-21 and the Aix Argonautes 35-34 before surprising the Blue Stars 15-8.

Dauphins quarterback Kiani Freeman has thrown for 387 yards and four touchdowns while Sullivan Silverio has thrown for 340 yards and one touchdown.

Cannes is led by quarterback Olivier Roy who has thrown for 551 yards and seven touchdowns with Timothe Labarriere as his main target. Labarriere has caught 12 passes for 239 yards and a touchdown. The Iron Mask ground game is formidable with running back Yanis Polin leading the league having rushed for 497 yards and eight touchdowns on 72 carries.

Despite being on the road, the Iron Mask, with a run-heavy offense, will be too much to handle for Nice who are suffering through a tough period.
