The Les Cougars de Saint-Ouen-L’Aumône (0-3) will play host to the Molosses Football Asnières (2-1) as the French D1 Elite winds up the fourth round of play Sunday, February 23.

The Cougars have lost their three opening games dropping a 20-2 decision to the Diables Rouges and then losing 24-21 to the Rouen Leopards. They were then pounded 56-0 by the Thonon Black Panthers. Asnieres whipped the Leopards 33-6 to start the season but lost 22-12 to the La Courneuve Flash. They exacted some revenge last week in whipping the Diables Rouges 33-7.

In the two games between the two teams in 2024, the Molosses were overwhelming winners beating Saint-Ouen 41-6 and 62-0.

Cougars quarterback Ashley Bailey has thrown for 277 yards and three touchdowns in the three games. For the Molosses, Brody Hahn has completed 27 of 51 passes for 451 yards and seven touchdowns, good for third overall in the league. Wide receiver Mahmoud Gharsallah has caught six of those passes for 159 yards and two scores.

Even though Asnieres is on the road, they will be tough for the Cougars to overcome.
