Triangle Razorbacks @ Søllerød Gold Diggers, Aug. 20, 12:00 CET (12 noon, 06:00 am ET)
Both teams have added a number of players over the summer. The Razorbacks have brought American LB Dylan Reda back to lead the defense, along with Jaroslav Vavrac and safety Henrik Dinesen. SGD has also added a number of familiar faces. On the defensive side, Philip Holm and David Tawake have returned, and offensively, Jens Ole Kaae and Benjamin Qvist are back. In addition, Swedish tackle David Strobel is back and brought with him a few Swedish recruits.
For the Razorbacks, quarterback Reed Gottula continues to provide steady leadership and the veteran has former 89ers receiver Magnus Urth as one of his main targets. Speedy running back Mads Sjørslev will put the 89ers front seven to the test. Defensive back Rasmus Bukhave Knudsen from the Holstebro Dragons is one of the additions to the secondary.
Gold Diggers quarterback Louis Colosimo (Davidson, NCAA Div. 1) has looked solid in the four games and with his mobility, he will make life difficult for the Razorbacks front seven. Wide receiver Simon Føns will be a key target this week as will Frederik Oldenburg. Jens Ole Kaae, and young Jonathan Steinhauer. Running back Magnus Nørgaard is always dangerous and scored twice in the earlier win over the Razorbacks and scored two second half touchdowns against the Towers which decided the game.
