The 2018 IFAF Flag Football World Championship tournament continues today, Friday August 10 at Costa Del Este Sports Center in Panama City, Panama, with 18 games on the schedule.
All the games are being played on three different fields, Under Armour Field, IHOP Field and Subway Field.

The men’s favorite, Team USA (2-0) will face Japan (0-2) in the first game of the day at 8 AM central time (9 AM Eastern, 3 PM Central European) on Under Armour Field while Mexico (1-0) squares off against Israel (1-2) on IHOP Field at 10:30 AM and Austria (1-1) takes on India (0-2) at 8:00 AM on Subway Field.
On the women’s side, team Czech Republic (0-2) and Guatemala (0-1) will face each other in the opening game at 9:15 AM central time (10:15 AM Eastern, 4:15 PM Central European) on Under Armour Field. At 8 AM, Mexico (1-0) will face Israel (0-1) on IHOP Field while at 9:15 AM, the United States (2-0) and Denmark (1-0) tangle on Subway Field.
What to watch for on Day 2
Men’s Division
The Austrian men will look to rebound against host Panama at 10:30 CST while Mexico and Canada do battle for Group B supremacy at 11:45 CST. In a cross-group matchup, Denmark will play rival and tournament favorite USA at 13:00 CST before immediately playing Canada in a pivotal Group A game.
Women’s Division
Panama will look to remain atop Group A when they face Brazil at 9:15 CST while Denmark will challenge Group B leaders Mexico and USA. European rivals Austria and Israel face each other at 11:45 CST with the loser in jeopardy of not making it out of the group stage.
