Thonon’s defense completely shut down the Graz aerial attack, surrendering just 61 passing yards.
Black Panthers quarterback K’Hari Lane led the offense with three passing touchdowns to as many receivers. Tight end Odell Turnbull was on the receiving end of one of them while Liam Ward and Kevin Dessaux also caught one each. Adel Bafdile added a punt return touchdown.
The Dragons took the early lead in their second round win against Guelfi Firenze and never let up, winning every quarter of the game. Quarterback Alexander Thury tossed three touchdown passes in the win over Firenze, connecting with Bernhard Ruscher and Lukas Gold, as well as running back Madre London. Linebacker turned running back Hakeem Kinard, also scored while defensive back Paul Schachner returned a fumble for a score as well.
The advantage in this game would have to go to the home team but Danube’s latest signing, running back Madre London, former MVP of the ELF, could be a deciding factor.
