LIVESTREAM: CEFL – Moscow Patriots (Russia) @Kragujevac Wild Boars (Serbia), April 28, 2p (8a EST)
The defending Serbian champions, the Kragujevac Wild Boars host the reigning Russian titleholders, the Moscow Patriots in second round action of the Central European Football League Saturday April 28.
These two teams have never played each other before.
Wild Boars quarterback Dalton Oliver has led his team to a 2-0 start in the Serbian American Football League with wins over arch rivals SBB Vukovi Belgrade and the Indija Indians. Kragujevac dropped a 47-41 decision to Turkey’s Koc Rams two weeks ago in the opening weekend of play in the CEFL.
Oliver and running back Joshua Quezada have been the keys to an offense which has averaged 36.3 points a game so far. With targets like Strahinja Stepovic, Petar Goic and Stefan Đurić, the Oliver leads a potent offense.
The Moscow Patriots enter this game with their veteran core of players remaining from the 2017 championship season including Team Russia QB Igor Chernolutsky and WR Denis Pisarev. Add import receiver/defensive back EJ Woods to the mix, and Moscow also has a dangerous offense. The Patriots are extremely talented and deep and can play spread football to build up an early lead and run from the power I to eat out the clock.
