The Limburg Shotguns (2-3) will host the Kasteel Nitros (0-5) Saturday, April 27 as the BNL league reaches the midpoint of the season.

The last time these two teams met six weeks ago, Limburg came away with a 48-6 victory.

Limburg dropped the first game of the year when the Rotterdam Trojans pummeled them 41-7. They rebounded with a 48-6 pounding of the Kasteel Nitros and then were edged by the league-leading Amsterdam Crusaders 35-30. Three weeks ago, they dropped a triple overtime heartbreaker to the Brussels Black Angels, but responded last weekend by whipping the Brussels Tigers 35-6.

The Nitros are suffering through a forgettable season. They have scored just 31 points in five games while surrendering 218. After losing 20-6 to their closest rivals, the Brussels Tigers in the opening game of the season, they were crushed 48-6 by Limburg, 39-7 by the Brussels Black Angels, 47-12 by the Rotterdam Trojans and then 64-0 by the Amsterdam Crusaders. Meanwhile, the Shotguns, despite having lost three games, have played close in every game but one.

This game should be a comfortable win for Limburg.
