The unbeaten Amsterdam Crusaders (3-0) will play host to the Nitro’s Saturday, April 15 as the BNL league rolls into the home stretch.
The Crusaders are coming off a 47-10 victory over the Limburg Shotguns two weeks ago while the Nitros won their first game of the season, beating the Ghent Gators 22-0.
These two teams met in the opening game of the season with Amsterdam coming away with a 30-12 win. The Crusaders followed that up with a 44-0 blanking of the Ghent Gators before beating the Shotguns. The Nitro’s dropped their second game, losing badly to Limburg 61-0. They were then blanked 38-0 by the Brussels Black Angels before the win over the Gators.
Amsterdam relies on quarterback Jasper Nijland and running back Berto Stuit while on defense, defensive back Soufyan Dardour is a key.
The Nitro’s will depend on running back David Zabrodin and on defense they are expecting a good game from linebacker Nick Vanhee.
