The Amsterdam Crusaders (5-1) will be looking to get back on the winning track, Saturday, May 18 when they play host to the Brussels Black Angels (5-2) with three games left in the regular season.

The Crusaders suffered their first loss of the season when Rotterdam beat them 23-21.

Amsterdam blanked Brussels 35-0 in the only other meeting between the two teams this year.

Amsterdam tops the league with a 5-1 record having scored an average of 38 points a game while allowing an average of just nine. The Crusaders loss to the Trojans two weeks ago does not affect their spot in the standings. Amsterdam still tops the league while the Black Angels sit third. The Black Angels lost 35-0 to Amsterdam but then defeated the Brussels Tigers twice 42-0 and 35-0 and the Nitros 39-7 and 48-7. They lost a close one to the rejuvenated Trojans 24-20.
