The Prague Black Panthers (3-4) will play host to the Tirol Raiders (3-4) Sunday, May 26 in a key Austrian Football League matchup.

The two teams are fourth and fifth in the standings although they have identical records. Prague has a much better points for and against number giving them the nod.

After opening this year with two straight losses,15-7 to the Graz Giants and 28-22 to the Vienna Vikings, Prague  won three in a row beating the Swarco Raiders 21-0, the Telfs Patriots 83-0 and finally the Salzburg Ducks 34-7. However, they then lost back to back games to the Danube Dragons, 17-14 and 43-39.

The Raiders are coming off a 42-25 loss to the league-leading Vienna Vikings after winning two in a row, 30-0 over the Salzburg Ducks and 56-6 against the lowly Telfs Patriots. They had lost three in a row to the Graz Giants (49-21), the Prague Black Panthers (21-0) and the Danube Dragons 23-7. Swarco has opened the season with a 45-2 victory over the Mödling Rangers.

For the Black Panthers, their offense is led through Tyler Jarnagin. The Prague signal caller currently sits fourth in the AFL for both passing yards (903) and passing touchdowns (13) off of his 86 completions on the year.

Raiders quarterback Kason Martin has thrown for 793 yards and 12 touchdowns but he has also been picked off 10 times. For Tirol to have a chance in this game, the turnovers have to come down.

The fourth and final playoff spot is likely up for grabs so expect a battle today in Prague.
