The 2-0 SonicWall Mödling Rangers will head to Vienna, Saturday, April 6 to face the 2-0 Danube Dragons in Austrian Football League action.
The Dragons two wins have come against the Graz Giants, 12-10 and Traun Steelsharks who they downed 45-28. Meanwhile, Mödling has beaten the Steelsharks, 52-31 and Graz, 45-39.
You could call this a showdown. Danube beat the Rangers both times they met them in 2018.
Dragons starting quarterback Chad Jeffries is the fifth leading passer in the league with 430 yards and four touchdowns to his credit. He is also the fifth leading rusher with 125 yards. Felix Reisacher with 122 yards receiving and Reinhard Knaus, 11o yards, are his two leading targets.
Raeleigh Yeldel has the Rangers offense performing at a high level and leads the country in passing having thrown for 706 yards and nine touchdowns. He has also rushed for 123 yards and two more touchdowns. His top receivers are Eugen Sumic with 210 yards in receptions and two touchdowns, Anton Wegan, 175 yards, 1 TD and Roman Namdar, 175 yards, 2 TDs. Running back Florian Wegan is second in Austria in rushing with 218 yards. In other words, the Rangers have a potent offense.
