The Graz Giants (1-0) will play host to the AFC Vienna Vikings (1-0), Saturday, March 29 as the Austrian Football League heads into its second round of action.

These two teams faced each other twice in 2024 splitting series. Vienna downed the Giants easily 35-3 in the first matchup but Graz got their revenge later in the season, edging the Vikings 14-13.

The Giants opened the 2025 season with a 28-6 victory over the Salzburg Ducks while Vienna defeated the Swarco Raiders 14-0.

Graz quarterback Mateo Renteria only threw for 47 yards and one touchdown in the win over the Ducks. It was the Giants ground game that led the way as running back Fritz Bleckmann rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns while Renteria scored another one on the ground.

Vikings quarterback Aaron Ellis threw for 224 yards and one touchdown against the Raiders with wide receiver Moritz Riedinger catching seven passes for 128 yards and a score to lead all receivers. Running back Kevin Wojta rushed for 65 yards and the Vikings’ other touchdown.
