The Gridiron New South Wales State Challenge heads into the third round April 28 when the New South Wales Wolfpack take on the ACT Monarchs at Collegians Sports & Performance Centre in Wollongong.
Both teams are looking for their first win of the tournament. The Monarchs are coming off a 35-8 loss to the QLD Sun Devils two days ago while the NSW Wolfpack were also defeated by Queensland, but by a score of 22-15 four nights ago.
The Gridiron NSW State Challenge is a tournament that replaces the Australian National Championship which was cancelled this year. It pits U20 and men’s all star teams from New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory against each other with each team playing the others once.
