Krown Countdown U – Canadian College Playoff Edition – Western, Laval advance to Vanier Cup

American Football International has teamed up with Krown Countdown U and Canada’s CBC Sports to bring complete coverage of the Canadian college football scene.

Every week, Krown Countdown U has been following the Canadian college football season on CBC Sports, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s sports station.

The show recaps mainly college football games, features, news and analysis of the week’s upcoming games with additional content focusing on Canadian content in NCAA football, Football Canada national teams, and the Canadian Junior Football League. 

This week on Krown Countdown U, Jim Mullin, Gord Randall and Mike Hogan look at the two Canadian college semifinal games as the Western Mustangs handed the Saskatchewan Huskies a 47-24 loss while the Laval Rouge et Or manhandled the St. Francis X-Men, beating them 63-0. Former Vienna Viking Shawn Olson takes a look at Calgary Dinos quarterback Adam Sinagra, a leading candidate for the Hec Creighton Award in X’s and Olson.

The crew then breaks down  the Mustangs and Rouge et Or  as they get set to play the Canadian college title game this Saturday, the Vanier Cup.

Finally, the show continues its coverage of Football North’s season.
