ELF: “It’s huge for us to have a Championship Game at home”

At the ELF 2025 press conference, two of the ELF’s biggest homegrown raised stars spoke about what it meant for them to have the ELF Championship played in their hometown of Stuttgart.

From Stuttgart to the NFL

Marcel Dabo found his way to the NFL in 2022 after one standout season in the ELF with the Stuttgart Surge. The German defensive back has now spent the past three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. Dabo spoke on what the ELF has done for his career, helping him reach new heights and play at the highest level.

“I am extremely thankful. It doesn’t matter how talented you are, if you don’t have a platform to showcase your abilities. If this platform doesn’t exist, then it’s even more difficult. The chance to play against future and former NFL players in the ELF is extremely valuable.“
