Team Ireland, aka the Irish Wolfhounds, has released its 47 man roster for this weekend’s friendly against the Belgian Barbarians, Team Belgium.
This will be the second meeting between these two countries in the last year. Ireland defeated Team Belgium 20-19 in a hard-fought contest in Ireland last October for its first ever win. The Belgians went on to defeat Holland’s Dutch Lions 14-7 for the first time in their history.
The Wolfhounds, originally formed in 2016, have played just the two games losing to Holland and then earning the win over the Barbarians.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, September 7 in Ostend, Belgium.
