IFAF World Junior Championships: Canada 2 gets convincing win over Australia to finish 5th

Canada 2 secured fifth place over all at the 2024 IFAF U20 World Junior Championships with a 45-7 win over Australia.
Australia took the lead and held the hosts in check at 7-7 before giving up ten points to trail 17-7 at halftime, and not until Canada 2 put 21 points on the board in the third quarter did the game run away from the Outback squad’s reach.
Jay Summers reeled in a 10-yard pass from quarterback Isaac Woodhouse and Harrison Pratt tagged on the extra point before six different Canada 2 players found the end zone.

Cesare Rednour-Bruckman and Jalen McDonald caught scoring passes from Josh Page, Dominic Mais returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown and Jayden Gurzi-MacDonald completed the scoring with a two-yard burst into the end zone.
