IFAF: European Championship qualifying games continue with two first time matchups
The International Federation of American Football, IFAF, qualifying matchups continue this Sunday, October 16 with Switzerland hosting Team Sweden and Finland heading to the Czech Republic to take on the Czech National Team.
Sunday, October 16
Team Czech Republic vs Team Finland – 13:00 CET (1 pm)
Fresh off a 60-13 beatdown of Denmark, Team Finland heads to the Czech Republic to take on the Czech National Team. This is the first action for the Czechs since they lost to Serbia 16-0 in 2019.
Team Switzerland vs Team Sweden – 14:00 CET (2 pm)
Team Switzerland will play host to Sweden’s National Team Sunday, October 16. This is the first meeting ever between these two teams. Sweden defeated Team Serbia a week ago in Örebro, Sweden 21-14. The last time Team Switzerland took the field, they lost to Team Russia 36-9 a year ago.
