LIVE STREAM: IFAF Europe Women’s European Championship Final Round
The third and final round of the 2015 IFAF Europe Women’s European Championships kicks off today with two games on tap.
In the early game Team Finland will take on Austria and the winner will finish first in Group A. The second game of the day will decide who finishes second and third in Group B, Sweden or Germany.
Great Britain has already won Group B and will face the winner of today’s contest between Finland and Austria in the gold medal game on Saturday August 8. The loser of the today’s game between Finland and Austria will play in the bronze medal game Saturday against the winner of the Germany-Sweden game.
Finland v. Austria
Finland is ranked as the #1 team in Europe and against Spain they proved it. They scored evenly running up a 28-12 halftime lead and then added another 28 in the second half to beat the Spaniards 56-18. Austria only got rolling in the second half against Spain scoring two touchdowns and beating Team Spain 21-6

Germany v. Sweden
Both of these teams are coming off tough losses against Great Britain. In the opener Germany lost to the UK 17-6 but the game wasn’t decided until late in the contest. Sweden did not get on the scoreboard until the fourth quarter in their 30-14 loss the Great Britain.
