IFAF Europe and the Slovenian American Football Association – ZANS – are holding a coaching clinic in Ljubljana, Slovenia this weekend, November 7th-9th. The clinic is classified as a Level 1 clinic.
ZANS president, Jernej Pavlič, said that the program is divided up into several stages, where each one passes on the proper coaching techniques and elements to new Slovenian football coaches.
“This is a highly anticipated event, as it will be the first coaching clinic for some. With the enormous support we have received from IFAF Europe, this will help us install proper football programs, ensuring that we develop American football in the best way possible in Slovenia. With the latest developments and growing popularity of football among the youth in Slovenia, these coaches will learn proper coaching techniques and a clinic like this will make a big difference.” said Pavlič.
One of the guest speakers, Aitor Trabado from Spain, added that the clinic is a part of the new IFAF Europe coaching clinic program. Besides Mr. Trabado, Giorgio Longhi from Italy will also be on hand as a guest speaker.
