The 2023 XFL is set to start just after the NFL Super Bowl. Many fans looking to watch some football with the NFL after the super bowl may be wondering how to best watch the XFL from abroad. With the International football fan base growing rapidly year on year, those fans could be looking to replace their NFL thirst for a new and mysterious XFL.
This season, eight teams will compete in the 2023 iteration XFL, divided into two divisions: XFL North (D.C. Defenders, Seattle Sea Dragons, St. Louis Battlehawks, Vegas Vipers) and XFL South (Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, Orlando Guardians, San Antonio Brahmas).

The league will feature some familiar faces as head coaches Hines Ward, Wade Phillips, Jim Haslett, and Rod Woodson will all be leading teams. On the field, former 1st round pick Paxton Lynch, along with fellow former NFL quarterbacks AJ Mcarron, Brett Hundley, along with former NFL players Josh Gordon, Martavis Bryant, Geronimo Allison, and Abu Daramy-Swaray the XFL will certainly have many fans interested in tuning in.
In Germany, Switzerland, and Austria SPORT1 will be presenting the XFL live and with highlights on free TV from February 18, as well as extensively on pay TV on SPORT1+ and its digital and social media channels.
The Sport1 rights package includes a total of 43 games – on each of the ten weeks, two games each are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, after the regular season followed by the XFL Playoffs on April 29 and 30 and the XFL Championship on May 13.

The XFL will also be available to through a ESPN Player international package which will show XFL games live online. Fans should be able to watch the games through ESPN’s subscription service which will include replays, highlights and plenty of other ESPN content. According to ESPN, all XFL games will be streamed on ESPN+ and simulcasted in 142 countries around the world.
