The Helvetic Mercenaries have found their QB1 for next season signing former Cologne Centurions quarterback Isaiah Weed. The veteran passer joins head coach Marcus Herford and all-star receiver Aaron jackson in Switzerland.
Weed was one of the more electric quarterbacks in the ELF last season throwing for 2,553 yards and 17 touchdowns, while adding 702 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground. The 27-year old was able to give Centurions fans some electric moments last year leading them to huge wins over the Frankfurt Galaxy and Hamburg Sea Devils.
His best game of the season came against the Sea Devils in Week 13 where weed ran for 137 yards and two scores, while throwing for 310 yards and a touchdown.
