The Helvetic Mercenaries have made several big time moves this off-season as they try to improve on last year’s 1-11 record. So far with just a few weeks of the off-season the Swiss team has been one of a few teams turning heads.
It starts at the top
Sonja and Sandro Moor were announced as the two new owners of the Swiss Franchise back in June. The stability of the Moor’s ownership has been a welcomed comfort to the franchise, as Sonja and Sandro have pledged: “We are here to stay.”
A top tier coaching staff
The Swiss squad started quickly signing Marcus Herford as their head coach. Herford brought in veteran coaches Michael Wood, Nordly Capi, Chris Scelfo, Dr. Drametrice Smith, and Joshua Fitzgerald. The robust coaching staff shows that the Mercenaries are looking to invest in their player development this year and continue the growth they saw from a young core last season.
