Hamburg Sea Devils re-sign RB Lucas Harting Candido

The Hamburg Sea Devils are bringing back their talented young running back Lucas Harting Candido.

The 21-year old running back was one of the Sea Devils bright spots this past season running for 643 yards and 4 touchdowns, including a long of 86 yards.

Candido battled injuries all season and was limited to only 119 carries in 10 games. However he maintained an impressive 5 yards a carry in 2024.

“It makes me happy and proud at the same time that I will be playing for the Sea Devils again next year. I am firmly convinced that we will achieve a lot with the team. The Sea Devils have the best fans, both good and bad. Stand behind us and stick with us. I see it as my job, together with my teammates, to deliver the success we long for.”
