Saturday will see the Berlin Adler (4-5) play host to the Paderborn Dolphins (3-6) in week 15 of the German Football League.

Berlin hold the head-to-head advantage, having beaten the Dolphins in the last matchup by a score of 31-0. The game saw Adler quarterback Zach Cavanaugh total just shy of 300 yards from scrimmage with two scores, while LB Ipp Geordiadis had a defensively dominant performance; he racked up five tackles, 1.5 sacks, three tackles-for-loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Berlin are coming off a near-upset, as they fell just one point short of the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions with a score of 21-20. Key to their surprisingly strong performance was WR Maylan Bacher, who sits top 10 in receiving yards per game and yards per catch. Bacher picked up five receptions for a season-high 126 yards and a touchdown against the Lions.

Paderborn have taken three straight blowout losses, with the most recent one coming in a 35-7 loss against the Berlin Rebels. The Rebels forced one of the worst performances out of quarterback Niklas Gorny, who completed nine passes for 73 yards with a score and three picks.

With Berlin entering the game as strong favorites, the Dolphins would need a huge upset to move out of the bottom two of their division.
