The Kirchdorf Wildcats of the German Football League have signed Glen Cuiellette as their quarterback for the 2022 season.
Most recently, Cuiellette played for the Badalona Dracs in the Spanish National American Football League. In 2021, the impressive athlete was coaxed into playing the final six games for the season for the overmatched and undermanned Frankfurt Universe in the German Football League throwing for 723 yards and four touchdowns. With Cuiellette behind center, the Universe managed to win the final game of the season against the Marburg Mercenaries, helping them stave off relegation from the GFL. Cuiellette had spent the early part of 2021 playing in the Indoor Football League with the Bismarck Bucks.
In 2019, Cuiellette appeared in seven games for the Dresden Monarchs, starting in five including the last four after stepping in for an injured Zack Greenlee. He threw for 1,456 yards and 17 touchdowns and helped Dresden reach the GFL semifinals that year.
The 27-year-old, 6′, 220-pound native of Mandeville, Louisiana, Cuiellette spent the 2018 season with Texas Southern University (NCAA Div. I FCS) where he started seven games and threw for 1,438 yards and eight touchdowns. He had transferred to Texas Southern from Tulane (NCAA Div. I FBS) where he played in all 12 games in 2016 with 10 starts throwing for 1,309 yards and 10 touchdowns.
