Germany: German Football League heads into 2nd half of season

The German Football League heads into the second half of the season this weekend with four games on tap.

The unbeaten Potsdam Royals head to Berlin to take on the last place Berlin Rebels in GFL North action. This is the second game between the two teams this season. Potsdam were overwhelming 74-20 winners in the first matchup. In other GFL North action, the New Yorker Lions will host the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes in the second game of the year between the two. Kiel defeated the Lions 28-14 to open the season. In the GFL South, the conference leading Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns take on the last place Saarland Hurricanes for the second time this season. The Unicorns dominated Saarland the first time out, beating them 50-28. In the only inter-conference game, the GFL North Hildesheim Invaders travel south to face the Kirchdorf Wildcats.
