Germany: Berlin Rebels sign British national team DB Mykel Dallas Nixon

The Berlin Rebels have announced the signing of British defensive back Mykel Dallas Nixon ahead of the 2023 German Football League season.

The 6′, 190 pound 26-year-old native of Birmingham and British national team member, spent part of the 2022 season with the Ravensburg Razorbacks in the GFL South where in six games he recorded 14 tackles and an interception.

Nixon spent the 2021 season with the UNC Crusaders in Finland’s Maple League and in eight games notched 16 tackles and a pick. In 2019, he played for Sweden’s Carlstad Crusaders helping the team reach the Swedish Superserien title game.

He was a member of the University of Stirling Clansmen college team that played in the British Universities American Football League.
