Germany: Battle of unbeatens highlights full weekend of action
The German Football League enters its eighth weekend of play with 12 of the league’s 15 teams in action.
The top game of the weekend features a clash between the defending champion Potsdam Royals (4-0) and the 2021 champions, the Dresden Monarchs (4-0). These two unbeaten squads met twice in 2023 and split the series with Dresden taking the first game 59-45 and the Royals the second, 57-21. In other action, the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns (4-0) will host the Ravensburg Razorbacks (2-4) who have won two of their last three after opening the season with three straight losses. The Straubing Spiders (2-2) are on the road to face the Allgäu Comets (2-2) while the Munich Cowboys (2-2) face the winless Kirchdorf Wildcats (0-4) in Kirchdorf.
The Hildesheim Invaders (4-1) who have won four in a row after losing their opening game, will host the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes (2-3). Meanwhile, the Paderborn Dolphins (2-3) and Braunschweig New Yorker Lions (2-3) will face each other for the second time this season. Paderborn took the first game 10-7.
