German Football League heads into final third of season with 7 livestreaming games
The German Football League features a full slate of games this weekend with 14 of the 15 teams in action and plenty on the line.
The feature game of the weekend is the matchup between the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions (5-3) and the Dresden Monarchs (6-1) on Sunday. The Monarchs won the first game earlier in the season 21-7 but Braunschweig is on a roll with five straight wins under their belt. Also on tap is the clash between the Allgäu Comets (3-5) and Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns (9-1). The first game was a thriller with the Unicorns coming out on top 58-57. In other action, the Saarland Hurricanes (1-7) visit the Kirchdorf Wildcats (1-7) in a GFL South battle of basement dwellers. The Straubing Spiders (3-5) take on the Munich Cowboys (4-4) in Munich while the Berlin Adler (4-4) will try to hand the Potsdam Royals (8-0) their first loss of the year in Berlin. The Kiel Baltic Hurricanes (2-6) will head to Ravensburg to play the Ravensburg Razorbacks (4-5) in another interconference battle. In GFL North action, the Paderborn Dolphins (2-5) will host the Berlin Rebels (2-6).
