German Football League: Battle of Unbeatens feature game of the weekend

The German Football League heads into the midpoint of the 2024 season with only three games on tap but one is perhaps the most anticipated game of the regular season.

The undefeated and defending GFL champions, the Potsdam Royals will host the unbeaten Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in a rematch of the 2023 German Bowl which saw Potsdam defeat the Unicorns 34-7. Both teams lead their respective conferences but while the Royals have dominated every opponent, Schwäbisch Hall has kept finding ways to win and had several close calls. In other action, the Munich Cowboys and Berlin Adler will clash in Munich in a battle of 3-3 football teams. This is the second non conference game for the Adler while Munich are facing a non conference team for the first time.

Finally on Sunday, the Kirchdorf Wildcats head to Ravensburg looking for their second win of the season when they take on the Razorbacks. Both teams pulled off upset wins in the last few weeks with Kirchdorf knocking off the Munich Cowboys and the Razorbacks getting past the Allgäu Comets and then almost beating the Unicorns a week ago.
