Full weekend of IFAF European Championship football
The IFAF European Championships which started back in 2019 finally wind up this weekend with the gold medal final on Sunday, October 31 between Sweden and Italy as the highlight.
The day before, Team Finland will host the 2018 champions, Team France, to decide who gets the bronze medal. Also on Saturday, Denmark and Austria will clash for 5th and 6th place. In another qualification game on Saturday, Team Switzerland will take on Russia.
Saturday, October 30
The bronze medal game could easily have been the gold medal final. The 2018 champions, Team France will face Team Finland in Finland. These two teams last met in the 2018 IFAF Europe semifinals with France coming out on top in that game. Kickoff is Saturday October 30 at 13:00 CET (1 pm, 7 am ET).
AFI.tv will not be showing the game. Danish national television will not allow a third party to carry the game internationally.
Team Switzerland will play host to Russia in a 2022 IFAF Europe qualification round matchup. Game time is Saturday, October 30 at 18:00 CET (6 pm, 12 noon ET).
Team Sweden is the host and will face Italy in the IFAF Europe gold medal final in Malmö, Sweden on Sunday, October 31 at 12:30 CET (12:30 pm, 06:30 am ET).
