French D1 Elite heads into the final half of the season

The FFFA D1 Elite (Federation Francaise de Football Americain) league reaches past the midseason point this weekend with six games on tap including a battle of two 3-1 teams.

In the Northern Conference, the undefeated Thonon Black Panthers (4-0-1) will play host to the Saint-Ouen Cougars (1-4) while the unbeaten La Courneuve Flash (4-0-1) will host the Asnieres Molosses (3-2).  The winless Amiens Spartiates (0-5) are at home to the Tours Pionniers (2-3)

In the Southern Conference, the winless Grenoble Centaures (0-5) will host the Toulouse Ours (2-2-1) while the Nice Dauphins (3-1) will pay a vist to the Grizzlys Catalans (3-1) in the game of the week. Finally, the Aix Argonautes (1-4) will travel to Marseilles to take on the Blue Stars (4-0).
