French American Football Federation (FFFA) Replaces President
This a few weeks back on December 13th, the Fédération Française de Football Américain (FFFA), France’s governing American football federation, held it’s General Assembly.
After sitting President Marc Angelo Soumah’s plans were rejected by the Assembly, Soumah and the Executive Committee collectively resigned.
Michel Daum is to replace Soumah in the short-term as interim president. Daum will be joined on the new committee by Franck Lacuisse (Treasurer) and Alexander Dubosq (General Secretary).
Following this announcement Michel Daum laid out a few principles to the General Assembly.
- The FFFA’s mission is to serve as a public service, it is important to ensure the continuity of this action.
- That the trust the technical and administrative teams, as well as all commissions are to be renewed; and all missions and assignments will remain unchanged.
- The FFFA will remain attached to the development of the three disciplines; American football, flag football, and cheerleading.
- The FFFA wants the next federal lists reflect the diversity of participants in American football in France.
