As reported on the September 4th, the Frankfurt Galaxy are back and have released their new logo incorporating their ‘Universe’ name so as not to diminish there more recent part of their history. Their new web site is also now live at www.galaxy-frankfurt.de
But the news does not stop there for the Galaxy. Former Universe head coach Markus Grahn has returned to the club from a successful stint at German Football League (GFL) side Dresden Monarchs. Furthermore they now have a new home at the 12,542 capacity Frankfurter Volksbank Stadium. With tickets already on sale (and selling well) everything at Frankfurt is going as planned.

[su_box title=”NFL Grant ‘Galaxy’ Trademark to Frankfurt Club” box_color=”#a4b1be”]Today news broke in Frankfurt, Germany that after months of negotiations the Frankfurt Universe have obtained FULL rights to use the Frankfurt Galaxy trademark from the NFL.
The Universe were established in 2007 by former Galaxy fans and executives to keep the foundations of the most successful NFL Europe club alive in the hope of one day returning the club in full. Thanks to the hard work of the club and the cooperation of the NFL, the Frankfurt Galaxy will return to the GFL for the 2015 season Galaxy CEO Matthias Maempel commented:
“The Galaxy are back! We have been working for months to bring back the Frankfurt Galaxy. We wanted the fans to get back what they lost seven years ago, and with the Galaxy a legend returns to a city with a very glorious football history. We are back with a strong team, and hope to revive it with a lot of passion.”
